It must be Christmas!!! If this disc only had Lorraine Ellison's Stay With Me, it would still send chills up my spine and tremors of joy through my body, but, among so many great others, Linda Jones as well? I'll be opening the windows today because between this and Eddie Bo, the homestead will be smelling seriously funky today. Thanks so much for this.
Now we're talkin! It took the "good ol' boys" at Rhino four volumes to get around to the women, but I'm sure it's worth the wait. Nice that they included some lesser-known singers. Thanks KC for the post. -john
