Mavis Staples just came through Paris at the end of last month - after waiting 40+ years to hear her in person (I first heard "I'll Take You There" and "Respect Yourself when I was 10/11 years old…)I was NOT disappointed. She just had a knee replacement a few months back but that didn't keep her from giving her absolute all - great band too !
