The final album from the great Snooks Eaglin is a dynamite one. Jon Cleary and his Absolute Monster Gentlemen make up the backing rhythm section and Astral Projects' Tony Degradi is in the horn section. Great stuff.Sadly the label, Money Pit Records, allowed this to go out of print almost as fast as it came out so now it sells for stupid bucks!

Listening to this now - its a damn fine album. Sad that if had such limited distribution. One of the djs from WWOZ played a cut from it Thursday (The Choking Kind), which put it on my radar screen.
And poppa - please post it! Jon is a neighbor of mine, and one hell of a nice guy.

I also have this as a flac d/l from 2010 A good album too - Jon used to play with some of my musical mates ...and we all caught him live (with these guys) for a few London gigs a while ago...all great ! had a good chat with the gus and met the lovely Big D ...and ever the fan got my CDs signed
